Everyone loves travelling. Who don't love?

THE WORRY EVERYONE HAD! (I do had this worry at first!)

Is travelling expensive? 

Travelling won't be that expensive till you can't afford it. UNLESS you want to take business class flights, stay in super good hotel eat in restaurant for all meals. But if you can afford all these good stuff then whats the worry? Just fly off! 

Will i be able to afford the travelling fee and expenses? 

Air ticket are not expensive, there are 2 types of flight. Economy and Budget flight.

Will i be penniless after a travel?    

If you book your things earlier and save up apart of your money for travelling then it should not be a problem to you. But if you like to buy air-ticket and book hotel a week before you travel and do not have much saving then this is a big problem as you will spend a lot more for this month. 

Personally i advice is to book your air-ticket and hotel at least 3 month to 9 months in advance before your departure date. And during the interval 3 months to 9 months you can save up the money that you want to spent when you are overseas. 

If you really like to travel on a frequent basis then save up more money on your travelling fee than spending more unused things or go for lesser entertainment. 

what should take note before you travel and during travel times ?

Things to do before you book your air-ticket and hotel.
- Choose your partner who is going with you wisely your partner is important during the trip. There are cases whereas you guys are very good friend but when after your travelling trip you wont be friends. And another case is that you are already good friends and after the trip you guys are more closer than before. So choose your partner wisely. 

After choosing the partner choose the location you want to go.
Shopping trip ? Relaxing trip ? Sightseeing trip ? Museum Trip ? There will be a agenda for your trip. 

After the country you wants to go next is the location you want to stay for that few nights or a few weeks. There are people who likes to stay near the city area as shopping is near easy access but just one thing that city area might be just a little more noisier. So hotel is also a important essential of your trip. As its the place for you to rest in the night time. Do take note when you are booking your hotel online. Look at the photos and the review. Sometimes solely based on the photo might not be accurate. Take time to go through the review before booking.

Is insurance important for the trip?
Insurance is really important when you travel. Do not think that it is a waste of money but when things do happen insurance really come in use. Example like if your flight is being delayed! This is the most common thing that will happen whereas nobody really likes. Most of the Travel Insurance will be able to claim back if your flight is being delayed by the minimum of 6 Hours. 

So do consider buying INSURANCE when you travel. Insurance company have wide range of travel insurance, just go to their website and have a look if not you can call their hotline. 

For frequent flyer, you can ask the insurance company do they have like a yearly kind of travel insurance it might be cheaper than always buying it. 

Medicine for you to bring a not it really depends on personal. Although there will be hospital and even pharmacy but it doesn't mean that the medicine there will be alright for you, so just bring the medicine that you are comfortable with.

FOR TRAVELER WHO GO TRIP WITH AGENCY THEN YOU CAN DON'T NEED WORRY SO MUCH ABOUT GOING THERE AND THE ITINERARY! JUST FOLLOW!! 

FOR SELF TRAVELER! DO REMEMBER TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK. TAKE A LOOK FOR ONLINE SUGGESTION ON THE ITINERARY AND WHERE TO GET CHEAP GOOD FOOD. AND HOW TO TALK TO THE LOCAL PEOPLE.

Take note when you are at overseas for self-traveler. Everything you have to do it yourself as you do not have a tour guide or a tour leader. Getting to hotel from airport. Different country have different style. Eg. Hong Kong and Taiwan they go by train or bus. Thailand go by Taxi. So must read up online. Online advice is pretty well-informed! Changed your currency in Singapore before you travel. If you are really short of cash over there don't worry there are foreign exchange. Importantly check the rate and double check all the money is correct before leaving the counter. 

Beware of Pickpocket! Although Singapore is relatively safe but there are still pickpockets around so just be careful when you travel. Passport and important stuff always carry with you. But just don't be too paranoid if not your trip will be stressful.  

Travelling is not only for the rich. Find your own way to save up the money and you can travel on a frequent basis.
